The PS4 size for Destiny is going to be 40GB and I'm going to assume it's rather the same for the Xbox One. Being able to download all of that before the game comes out is great not to mention a lot of people are in the time zone that is allowed to play at midnight.

Ghosts was 49gigs and I had I 100% installed in less than 90 minutes, not to mention you can play games once they get to like 30% installed (at least on the one you can) and the game will finish installing as you play.

Again, I'm just saying that the PreLoad isn't as perfect as people keep saying. May be less hassle with not having to go to GameStop and picking up a copy.. But if you're in a time zone where you are forced to wait past midnight.. Don't do it.

Think of it this way too.. I'll begin my install around 12:15 at the latest EDT.. Which is 9:15 PDT. So I'm more than likely to be playing Long before it's even midnight for those PDT gamers.

Quoted this part for you, I think this is what Wolf is overlooking. Sure those who are PDT can play right at midnight if they preload.. But that's midnight PDT. For those of us EDT that's 3am. So when we get the game and can be playing by 1 to 2am EDT that's 10 to 11pm PDT.

Makes more sense not to preload for us. And with the preorder at GameStop you get a few extra goodies in game.

Sigh.. That's not the point I was making child. The point is that if your goal is to be on and play asap, the pre load isn't actually the way to go if you live on the East Coast.

But hey, just trying to help, and to inform where as everyone else is leaving out the specifics.

I'm not overlooking anything and my point is rather very simple. I download at 246KBS as does pretty much everyone else in this town. There is no better internet. If anyone else in this town bought Destiny off the marketplace they are looking at a very long and painful download. Just because you have great internet doesn't mean everyone else does.

i really dont think anyone cares to be the FIRST one playing lol.. just have fun waiting at gamestop and then install and then the rush of people trying to play. i hope the servers are all fucked up and you cant play just for your stupid little theory lol when ill have a nice sleep and wake up in the morning and play like a normal person
