It is hardly irrelevant. The stamp tax was just a suggestion? No. British government made laws and enforced them. The colonists were always under the British rule and when there were problems, the government sent more redcoats to enforce its order. How are they suppose to show Connor kill an equal amount of "colonists." what distinguishing feature do they have? You realize the red coats act as the policing unit in the towns. So yea, you are goin to encounter them making rounds (especially Northern colonies).
It is irrelevant. British pariliment could pass law for it's colonies, but all the 13 colonies had their own legislature.
Before the revolution started, there wasn'tall that many British army soldiers in the 13 colonies, not enough to police everything. Towns had their own militia, which would outnumber the British army. So any places under colonial army control will have colonial miltia, and the developers have already said it's about equal who'll you'll be killing, half from the British half from the colonies. It's the advertisement that's the problem.
