Once again, as always...Breton>all

They really keep goofing on their race inheritances.

25% magic resistance on Breton is undeniable...just like in all the previous Elder Scrolls

the only other races worth bothering with are high elf as a mage (even then its just +50 magicka...can get that in 5 levels)
or khajiit for stealth class (faster running mainly...and the novelty of doing unarmed attacks with your claws)

Just beat the game. Took me just over 70 hours, and I didn't do the Mages/Thieves/Bards guild quests.

So, Soul Gems... Does it matter for enchanting weapons the quality of the soul gem? The higher quality the better the enchantment bonus?

Hm, I dont think so. The larger the soul gem the more "charges" your item has.

Yep, grand will always give you the better/higher quality enchantments than petty - greater.

so does killing the "big important guy" assigned by the night mother affect the main storyline at all?
