Correct. You can't use partitioned hard drives. Has to be fully formatted for xb1 at the moment.

What Format is the Xbox one?

cant remember for sure but it doesnt matter because you simply plug the hd into the xbone and let the console format the hd on its own. you dont have to use your computer to format the hd.
