No I don't believe people only play consoles for exclusives but to put it simply if you making a list of console pros and cons, you can't put Halo 6 exclusive on the list for Xbone.

Its on Windows 10. Not steam.
They share saves. They have achievements.
Its just a different device.

Playstation has Vita, psp, ps tv but yet you still call them Playstion exclusives.
Like I said before, I own and play them all. Its just a stupid argument that makes no sense.

People like the OP are the reason why I won't play MP games on Playstation.
The community cares more about what Xbox is doing than their own console.

This is only semi accurate. Hardware sees a sales boost when a new game comes out that is bundled with a console. If a ps4 gets bundled with call of duty this holiday their will be a hardware boost when that gets released whether call of duty is exclusive or not. It also depends on the game. I highly doubt the xbox will see a sales boost when Recore gets released. I don't see the ps4 getting a hardware boost when kingdom hearts 2.8 gets released. Its only games like uncharted,gears and halo that really move consoles

Yeah people call these types of games that appear on both pc and xbone, console exclusives. But it doesn't matter. However you want to dice it is one less reason to own an xbone. Period. Hard stop. No, but it's windows 10. No, don't like pc gaming. One less true exclusive, over less reason.
