The few hours bit is slightly not exaggerated. Imo, the game drops you into all of it right off the bat (bought it and started playing w/o researching at all into it) and it was a bit overwhelming at first. But, I just picked a color objective (red in my case) and started working on a few of those to get my footing. After I got a few skill points in, the game quickly snowballed into awesomeness. At the end, I had all the "help you block/counter/dodge/etc" stuff turned off and it got even funner. Running into strongholds head first for the hell of it was pretty cool.
Truly a game that you can see your character progressing from infant stages to god hood while having a blast through the whole thing.
