i dont use a headset because i hate talking to strangers

I have the Turtle Beach Stealth X500 - it is the only headset I found that has voice playback so that you can actually hear yourself talk. If you can't hear yourself through your headphones you'll end up talking louder, which, for me, defeats the point of using a headset. It's the only headset that is completely wireless. One problem I've had is that it can have some trouble connecting to the profile you're logged into, so you have to restart your Xbox every once in a while if it doesn't link properly. Another problem is that the microphone is sensitive. A lot of people say I am talking quiet so I have to adjust where the boom sits.

if you are using a 3.5mm jack, then i recommend any headsets made by Audio Technica and Kingston (HyperX)

Kingston hyper xcloud II is the best headset to buy under $100 even the just hyper xcloud 1 is good

When I talk in my turtle beaches everyone says I am echoing hard core

Anyone know a fix for this?

It's not the kinect that I know of because it happened on my 360 w the same pair of headphones. Uses infared

I also use a different mic and no echo.

Dont buy those...they sucked..only lasted me like 2 months and started slowly falling apart...at the end the mic stopped working..i would say just get some cheap turtle beach's.....or get some ASTRO's...i got the Astro A40's and i love them i wouldnt buy anything else.

I personally use my Turtle Beach X12s with an Xbox One headset adapter. They work beautifully, absolutely love them.

Others will have hate for Turtle Beaches, but I honestly have no complaints, personally.
