worst solution I have ever heard in my life. Wasting bandwidth both uploading and when streaming it. Can't upload copy right content (unless maybe you do it private or something), also this wouldn't work if your internet is ever out.


Can you put said file on a usb drive and play it off that?

USB solution worked, duh! This media player app must be a new thing, although I haven't used my xbox to play videos at all since I thought you still couldn't use USB like when it first came out.

Xbox One has full DLNA support so you don't need to convert anything since transcoding is done server side.
You are doing something wrong.
