I just tried again. Nothing. "There's a problem connecting to the sign-in service." For shits and giggles, I tried resetting the router, reapplying my network settings on the X1, adding a new user (which it won't let me do either right now). Nothing worked.
edit: Support suggested I unplug everything and plug it back in. Somehow that worked.
