I love benchmades regardless of the ridiculous price even tho it's not as ridiculous as some of the other knives out there on the market
They're hella strong, come hair shaving sharp, offer lifetime free sharpening and warranty, and I freakin love the AXIS lock. Easily able to open and close with 1 hand in less than a second
I've owned many different kinds of knives at various different prices but I always come back to the benchmades

In all srsness tho my job allows me to use it quite often and the things I do at home also allow me to use it quite often
It's more a tool than anything else
Which is why I love the AXIS lock cause it allows me up open and close the knife w/ ease w/ one hand and the other is holding onto the ladder or a heavy object

And as a tool it's meant to get beaten and broken. I would rather have a few cheap knives than one expensive one. The on I posted field dressed a deer just fine along with misc tasks.

The one I carry every day is an off brand buck knife that my dad got from his dad.
