If it was that easy there would have been so many racing teams in this world. But truth be told not everyone can sit in a race car and be able to drive it to it's max. I was reading some article about a guy who was the fastest around a track on some simulator and then they gave him the same race car in person and told him to do 2 laps and by the end he had to throw up from all the inertia changes and the amount of focus and concentration you had to give to the road.
racing in general is a very hard sport and shame on those who say it's not a real sport.
there is more to racing than having a race car also. you have to build yourself from somewhere and find decent drivers and be able to invest a lot of money on the team until you get sufficient revenue from your sponsors. racing is a very very expensive business.
