This is the year ms overtakes sony in terms of raw power, among others.

https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/63svb8/forza_6_screenshot_on_project_scorpio/

I am fucking impressed. They were able to push the tech demo to 4k/60 with pc ultra settings and only hitting 88% gpu usage. With xbox one settings they had a very comfy 66%cpu utilization.

Insane!

Fair enough.

Rumors and educated guesses place a $499 price point, and Phil Spencer has said it's aimed at enthusiasts. The Xbox one s will drop in price and be a good choice for entry level gamers who want 4k blu ray, allow access to share games, and play backwards compatible titles.

Sony needs to scrap PS Now as the streaming is terrible, come up with a solution for playing ps3 games either through emulation or running a VM, and bend over for not including a 4k blu ray drive in the pro.

Sure Sony has exclusives, but how long are developers going to want to stay on an inferior console hardware wise, that doesn't handle backwards compatibility well, when the competition outperforms in benchmarks and allows playing multiple generations of games on one system.

We shall see.

Im never tried psnow so idk, I have 200+ ps3 games and my old ps3 so it dont interest me, im thimking thr pro csn drop im pricr or get a game bundled in around scorp launch like ive ssid this is not a game changer they are still losing this gen

Edit the bottle neck is still the bsse xb1 this is not next gen its just a upgrade so as long as games sell 2:1 on ps4 devs will stay eith them

Not a game changer? For years its been all about the ps3 and now 4 being more powerful, getting the better versions of games, and now that will be on the Xbox. Thats kind of a game changer if devs will make better games for Xbox. In terms of sales i dont think its a game changer as PS will still "win" the generation in that aspect. As far as exclusives from 3rd party goes,it comes down to 2 things. Money and hardware. Sony had the better hardware and paid more for exclusives so they were getting the exclusives. Microsoft has the better hardware now so devs will wanna work with them more then PS,but it will come down to money and whether MS will pay

Curious what we see at E3.

And I agree completely, for years sony fans were all about the superior hardware and games didn't mean much. Now we enter an era where it's all about the games and the hardware doesn't mean much. Flippity floppity.
