Alright I want to play with other people but every time I hit quick match It says joining and then just starts a new game with just me in it. I was able to play with another person ONE time and I have yet to be able to get it again
I have it set to open to public and no one ever ends up joining.

What am I doing wrong?

If you choose a specific mission it will look for a game, but put you into a single player game if it cannot find anyone in your level range and difficulty doing that mission.

People won't always join dependent on your difficulty setting or your level vs act/mission choice. It could also be the day and time that you are playing since D3 is probably not a first choice game for many people right now. Also if your NAT is not Open, you could be preventing people from joining you.

Try searching by Act rather than mission. It will find you a party or tell you that it can't.
