Hey everyone. My friend and I have been wanting to do a VoG run for a while. We frequently play through the week and actually LAN in his living room. We both have headsets and are looking for a few other guardians to run us through our first attempt at the VoG. I am a level 26 Titan, he is a Titan as well, level 27.

I know this is late but you should be a 27 at least to run the VOG you will hinder the team badly after the Templar at 26

yeah dont listen to this guy having a 26 isnt that big of a deal if you know what you are doing.

You can complete the easy raid at 25 if you know what you're doing. Just have to have the right team.

you guys clearly didnt read his post he said this would be his first time through i doubt he knows what hes doing...

thanks for the replies everyone. We got a few adds. I'm sure it's doable at our levels as my Titan will now be 27 as well and LA ATtack has a fully upgraded seros regime which rocks yet doesn't add to his level.

It seems like you hit a plateau around 27 unless you do the VoG. So it's a bit frustrating to be told were too low level to do it when it seems like the best way to level at that this point.

If you guys feel we are too low level what would you advise? Grinding 24 strikes?

you can hit 29 easily without touching the raid..

i mean obviously the best way is to do the raid and get lucky and get some raid gear so you can get to 30 otherwise you can always buy exotic from xur and then do the strikes to get there or another good way is to level up vanguard or cruicible and you can just use ur 200 points per week to buy armor from them. only need 65 points for boots so that is easily accomplished.

Getting 28 is easy... Buy an exotic helm from Xur and 3 legendary items with marks. Takes less than 200 marks to get chest, boots and arms. Upgrade the helm to lvl 30 light and each legendary to the point before spending ascendants and you will hit 28. I don't really care that your friend has his Suros fully upgraded or nothing in the form of an upgrade. The damage penalty for being 26 isn't all the sudden fixed because his Suros is "fully upgraded."
