I am sure you are all aware Microsoft is dropping the Kinect from the Xbox One to bring the price in line with the PS4, but did you know in Canada it's actually going to cost less then the PS4?

A bit ago Sony announced that in Canada the PS4's price is going up $50 due to a struggling dollar.

The PS4 is currently being sold at $449. Preorders for the Xbox One have already begun at $399 CAD. This will likely give a boost in sales in July. July also being the time E3 will take place.

Why is this interesting? Microsoft decided to announce the Kinect-less Xbox One very early. By accepting pre-orders and making it public knowledge a Kinect-less Xbox One is in the works they have abandoned some sales until it's release.
They could have maybe sold some consoles on the misinformation of the general public. If a person didn't want a Kinect but didn't know the Kinect-less version was soon to be released, they would buy an Xbox One today.

Which can indicate a large announcement at E3 to the tune of "Buy this killer app and get your Xbox One for only $399!".

most likely - they'd be kind of fucked if they ended up being the higher-priced console. lol

Or Microsoft raises the price. The Canadian dollar is shit right now. They will already be selling at a loss + .10c per dollar.

Selling a console at a loss isn't anything new to any console maker, they always make up for it in peripherals (Controllers, headsets, and such). Do you really think that the remotes cost more than $20 to make? and they sell then at $60
