A future project of Sony is a VR device with an unknown launch date. The PlayStation 4 retails at 399.99.
The Xbox One has lesser hardware to an extent. Games for the Xbox typical favor the American market and only have a few games not multiplat coming from eastern parts of the world. The Xbox One Retails at 499.99, but has dipped as low as 449.99.
Why should you? You shouldn't. There is a lack of games out right now for both consoles and they have hardly tapped into the potential of them. Give it a year and the games you want now will be cheaper and the games you wanted to come out will be out.
