so, for exemple, lets say its 4:55 o'clock, in japanese it would be : yoji gojugofun, something spelled like that.. , but how do you know if you need to say fun or pun at the end? some times you gotta use pun i think but im not sure, ty!

"ffun" when the minutes end in 5 ( XX:05, XX:15, XX:25, etc), so it's always be ".....goffun" and never "......goppun"

"ppun" is for every other case, when the ending number isn't a 5

no, actually you never say nippun and nanapun, and kyuuppun so there are some exceptions so that doesn't always apply.

Ippun, Nifun, Sanppun, Yonppun, Gofun, Roppun, Nanafun, Happun, Kyuufun, Jyuppun. Same applies for the 10s' and the 20s'...

He's spanish, I'm Japanese lol don't listen to him.

But the numbers above one hundred are tricky tho. you never say hyaku-nijyufun you say ppun because the intonation bounces, so it ppun, not fun at the end :p

120 hyakunijyu-ppun
122 hyakunijyuni-fun

It all depends on what number comes last. if it's 2, 5, 7, or 9 then apply the priciple above lol
