Are filipino americans welcomed to the english teaching system in japan?

Because I am currently studying an english major and I'm filipino. Did alot of research but I want the perspective of the japanese individuals opinion. Please enlighten me.

Well, if u r capable i think they would hire anyone, back in cram school I use have a Korean American teacher in Japan and he was awsome.
So if ur willing then im sure there are openings because most Japanese ppl suck at learning English in public education, and there are also private schools, prep schools, college etc.

Living there is alot different. Easy to say you love the culture now.
You could find work there teaching but other foreigners will get preference over you.

Thts what i mentioned in my first post, the learning curve will be steep for any1, practically.
cultural immersion can be tough for ne1 especially when u don't know the language.

Ethnically, i dont see much of an issue. if thats the main issue or concern i don't think he should go.
