I am working on getting a study abroad/ internship in tokyo. trying to find an internship that deal with film, preferably animation. anyone on this forum from tokyo that could point me in the right direction of where to look etc...

what kind of animation? Old school hand drawn animation or 3d? From what I hear many cg artist from Japan are coming here to the States because the pay isnt so good in japan. You can try asking around cgtalk.com if you're thinking about going through the CG route. Keep in mind many studios now a days out source. Game companies like Capcom out source some of their animation and motion capture (and I believe sound as well) to companies like House of Moves (So Cal Studio) and Just Cause Productions (Another So Cal companies)

Other sources where you can look for job postings are creativeheads.net and linkedin.com The catch with linkedin.com is you gotta be able to connect with recruiters but there are options to "follow" companies
