I would like to learn Japanese but have limited funds and am unable to go out and spend hundreds on that Rosetta stone stuff. anyone have a cheap guide or way they learned Japanese that would be still easy to pick up on? thanks

I'd stay away from Rosetta Stone as a main source of learning. You could also just buy these three books:
A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar
A Dictionary of Intermediate Japanese Grammar
A Dictionary of Advanced Japanese Grammar

Read those from page to page and you'll learn a lot of grammar and get a lot of good example sentences per grammar point.
However, first of all you should learn hiragana and katakana. Then learn Japanese grammar, vocabulary and kanji.

lol go tutor somewhere, why u even tryin to ask that kind of question at jsp?.. seriously..

go on youtube internet watever, juss search and learn, try to read... watch many japanese related things like drama n shit with ofc subtitles. manga, anime watever else u can pick...

by a fuking text book at least so you can practice.
