The sentence format used is: X is Y Desu.

Kore = This
Nan/nani = What
Desu = Verb: To be
Ka = Question
Wa = Particle stating the topic.

Translation: This is what?
English Translation: What is this?

Not sure what those other words are. I'm only a first year student.

pron. (Hira=かれら) they, 3rd person plural pronoun used to replace names of people or things

2nd is a family name.

There's the first two according to a translator. Couldn't come up with the last one.

r u sure you spelled the last one correctly? cause atoma is prolly either atama or atomu which is head and atom respectively.
