"I love you" in japanese is "aishiteru" or "aishiteru imasu" (the subject and the direct object are omitted). But you'll hear more often "suki desu" ("I like you") or "daisuki desu" (I like you very much).

Furthermore some other comments:

- It's "desu" not "des". The japanese don't have a kana for "s", but they do have a kana for "su". The only consonant you'll ever find at the end of a japanese word written in romaji will be the "n" (or sometimes "m"), since that's the only kana they have without a vowel in the romaji transliteration. (in ningen (human) for example, you'll have it twice). Something that has to be mentioned though is that you'll sometimes see a double consonant in a word. In that case the japanese use a small "tsu" to double the consonant.

- words in romaji are usually written like in english...not with spaces between each syllable

Small correction:

"aishiteru" is shortened form of "aishite iru", so you don't need an extra "imasu" at the end. It's either aishiteru (aishite iru) or aishite imasu (more official/polite)
