yea, avoid roppongi
i went there one time at night just to try it and it was swamped with foreigners. when we went in a club it was packed like sardines. then the wait staff literally comes up to people with menus and forces you to order something if you dont have a drink
plus theres tons of nigerians or whatever just scoping around

Well ive found my visit of Roppongi at night pretty interesting to a certain extent...ofc dont go in those stupid clubs, made to rip you stupid tourists (this is like that in every country), but its interesting to just visit it once .
Ive stayed in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo, and id say that Tokyo is my favorite, Kyoto is also very interesting, but Osaka, culturaly speaking, theres really not much to do. Spending a day or 2 there is really the max you wanna do... its really an economic hub, nothing else. (Although i saw Opeth (metal band) in Osaka, very nice..)
