You can't learn Japanese from watching Anime or reading on some web pages, simple as that. Learning a language, any language, takes dedication and effort. And don't be decieved by those youtube fakers speaking japanese from America. This is true for 99% of them: THEY SUCK, SUPER SUCK, you just don't understand it. It won't be easy just cause you love japan etc etc. The only way to learn proper japanese IMO is to acually move to japan for at least a year and actively study japanese (no, going to bars using the same phrases every time will not improve your japanese.). Uni works ofc, but from my experience their knowledge of the language is so tilted. They can write pretty sentences, but can't speak a proper sentence.
Oh, and a tip, if you acually decide to learn japanese, don't take the words from japanese people judging your capabilities for truth. EVERYONE in japan will do a SUGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI~~~~~~~~~~! at you for just an 'Arigatou'. They're just being polite.
I'm sorry if I'm bursting someone's bubble here, but this is reality.

edit: oh and NEVER use any phrase you've heard in an anime when having an acuall japanse conversation. It's most likely you will either speak like an overly polite little girl/stereotyped macho idiot or some weird combination of them both. They don't speak like in the anime in acual life. And unless you have studied japanese for a while you won't understand what's what. For example previous post. Yamero is pretty much a slang term from the word yamete, which is a verb form (don't know what it's called in english, sorry) of yameru. You would use yamero when screaming at the top of your lungs at someone to stop stabbing your neighbour with a knife/being ironic/playing macho jokingly. but that's about it.
