what do you mean the intonation bounces? also does this change between kansaiben and tokyoben?

oh gosh, kansaiben and hiroshima area have there own dialect and people who only speak and know tokyo-ben might have trouble understanding.
but if u know standarad tokyoben thereare no rules on how to express time differently.

ah cool, well i started learning about 7 months ago but kaiwa is much easier to pick up. a lot of japanese people are really shy to practice english though, so a lot of time is spent getting them drunk.

Yeah :p that's probably the easiest way to gettem talking!

how are tokyo clubs? i heard they had sam n daves up there too. forgot what it was called, but some clubs are for picking up girls because they have lounge areas, and its something with an N. it literally translates to getting a girlfriend, or flirting.
