I took two years of it in high school. I find it easier to learn than something that would use the alphabet we use. Learning all of the Hiragana/katakana and Kanji make it a lot more fun to learn than any other language. And on top of that, the grammar isn't overly complicated. The hardest part about it would be learning dialect. Reading and writing it is fairly east. Speaking is a bit more difficult.

I have a question.. I'm watching alot of anime and I keep learning new words, but today I heard a word that was translated to 'Newbie', but they talked really fast xD
Can anyone tell me what the japanese word for Newbie is??
