do you guys rent videos or have satellite korean channels?

Satellite.

We used to rent but the videos were way behind korean TV episodes.

we dont get satellites from our service provider in our area, its rather lame cause its a populated city (vancouver)

my mom was thinking of switching companies just for that XD

This is how I watch all the korean shows.

I bought Korean Internet Tv modem from korea, called HanaTV. I hooked it up to my internet and I can watch all the shows and dramas whenever I want. I can even watch old school drama like 올인, 프로포즈, 별은 내가슴에, 미스터 Q. If I was using this in Korea, it would be 실시간 cuz internet in Korea is fast as mo fo. But it takes longer here in the States and usually requires downloading, but only takes like 15 minutes.

But only draw back is that someone in Korea has to pay the monthly fees, in my case, my dad pays for it. But it's fairly cheap, less than $20 a month. ^^

You can watch episodes through the internet too.
