First of all, it is hot as fuck over there with the humidex. Coming from Canada, I felt like death for the first few weeks.
Air quality is terrible and so is the water. Some parts of Korea look very dirty since the buildings are so old, but the insides are like new.
I stayed in Incheon with my cousins and met a lot of my relatives. Didn't know I had 3 rich grandpas!
The first 2 weeks, I went sight seeing so I literally traveled all over South Korea by car. Went all the way up to the DMZ and drove down along the east coast.
Then we went all the way down south to Yeosu, up along the west coast and pretty much everywhere in the between.
The scenery is great. Korea is a hikers heaven. About 60% of the land is filled with mountains.
Ate live squid for the first time along with many other weird things. Food there is amazing.
Drank Makali and a ton of somaek lmao. Soju+Cass is the bombbbb. Hope they sell those here. More smokers/drinkers in Korea than I thought. A pack of cigarettes are $2.50 and a bottle of Soju is $1...
Went to Insadong, Hanokmaul, Gyeongbokkung - the tourist spots
Shopped in Myeongdong. There's sooooo many people there. The workers greet you way too much to the point you feel uncomfortable.
As for partying, we mostly went to Bupyeoung, Hongdae and Gangnam 술 집. A lot of hot girls are in that area.
Most look pretty from far away because they're all skinny, they have nice hair, and dress properly. But the closer you get, the less attractive they get.
Went to a night club with booking service lol too funny. They bring drunk ass girls to your table, most of them being ugly.
Some girls keep talking non stop.. I was like stfu already and let me say something LOL.
Also, we walked by a plastic surgery center and the room was filled with girls.. EVERYONE gets their eyes done, which reminds me, I saw many girls without double eyelids and they were hot as fuck.
Girls over there are so insecure, which probably explains why they're so easy.
Went to an SM concert in Seoul and saw SNSD. Stadium filled with crazed fan girls screaming their lungs out. I wanted to see IU too, but tickets sold out too quick
The majority of the people in Korea are properly raised and have good manors.
Barely any theft. We walked though a mall after closing hours, and stores like Prada, Chanel don't even lock away their bags.
They just put up a tiny 4ft gate and leave all their shit in the open lol.
All in all, Korea is a beautiful country and so is the language. It was great seeing a land full of my people and I plan to go there again in the future
