갈
I understand that 갈 is ㄱ, ㅏ, and ㄹ combined, so it should sound like g-a-l. I pronounce it like "gao".
However, if you look this word up on www.forvo.com, the person says it like "kyle", which confuses me.

Just wondering why is 갈 pronounced like "kyle" or if it even is pronounced that way.

if you listen to yourself when you say 갈 it seems like you're saying kyle, so maybe that's why.
