Trust me.. Let's just put it every korean member i have met outside of Korea.
99% will be using vulgar languages. Even in the case that it is downgraded since they are in a foreign country.
I can't help to think if it is this much in where i live, how Korea is..
I know i can't judge the country based on view points of so little, but from what i have see.
The culture what i use to know when i was young is changed.
The language what use to be vulgar at my times are now normal.

um i have plenty of korean friends... and they do use such language (esp if all males etc)

The people you are talking to are most likely more younger people.
Everybody uses vulgar language, it's not just Koreans that do. About 99% of the conversations you hear anywhere at school will consist of some sort of swearing.

I have plenty of Korean friends, some use vulgar language and some don't. It's just a social issue, not a cultural one.

not really, most of em are grad students

age range from 19-32

most are 26+
