Its because you mainly speak Korean among family and English among friends.
You would not swear very often infront of your family, as you subconsciously try to stop yourself from swearing when you're among family.
Whereas if you are with your friends the subconscious barrier is weak and you let yourself go without filtering any of your words.
It would be a different case if you spoke English inside your house and Korean with friends.

While Koreans go apeshit about it..
So like saying fuck shit etc with ur friends aren't as bad as saying 씨발 etc
In front of Koreans u need to be careful unless ur on an online forum
