actually it is not same as infinite challenge. Running man is more based on missions than challenges. They do lots of mini games and scenario based stuff. They have guests almost every episode which the other two shows you've mentioned don't.
I'm not saying Running man is a good show, it is repetitive yes, but that's what how all programs are now days.. but if you got nothing else to watch I think running man is better than most shows.
and who da fuk cares what they do, SNSD guests alone is just worth watching it

They are both the same in respect to that you must follow through a procedure and try to accomplish a goal, which both 무한도전 and 1박2일 features on a weekly basis.
Mini games? 무한도전 was primarily a show based on a collection of mini games during their premier season and 1박2일 goes through mini games for EVERYTHING that they do, aka transportation, food, sleep, etc.
Guests? Both 무한도전 and 1박2일 features guests, but only for special episodes like the recent 무한가요제 because they aren't stacked with incompetent losers that can't hold their own.
