i have a dog and live in america

but i think its ok in korea

I think the big problem with this is how they kill them
supposedly if you beat them to death dogs get angry and give out more endorphin makes meat more tasty or something
but i would say yes as long as keep the pet dogs separated from the farming dogs

Both of you are right, Koreans ate a lot of dog back then because Korea was really poor, and there was not enough meat. Also the dogs are separate, eating dogs are raised different then pet dogs.

Yes, not many Koreans eat dog lol , it is an ignorant sterotype. I would say the major of Koreans who have or had would be 40 years or older.

i went to a farm. the guy ties a rope around some dogs neck and drags it while its crying. then it hangs it on a tree and bashes like 20 times with a club. the things crying and shit but 쌔끼가 계속 안죽는거에요. so im like wow wtf. then when it finally dies it burns off all the hair with some sorta blow torch and im just like yeah.. im not eating dog in this lifetime. then my friends like likes go get 보신탕 and im like .... and even like the girls are eating it and i get 삼계탕 and they keep asking me why im not eating it... rofl sigh and like girls even making fun of me 남자 쌔끼가 왜 안 먹느냐고

nah its a delicacy to many even young people. but i still wont eat it but have nothing against people who do. why eat cows or pigs and chicken? why not dog?
