Hi, right now im writing a school report about the cencoring of websites in China.

I got some different questions for you I hope you will take the time to answer them smile.gif.

Do you think about the cencorship, and do you worry about it in general?.

Do you obey the cencorship or are you finding some ways to get trough the censor ship wallks set by the goverment?.

Do you feel manipulated by the censorship, and the facts that the goverment are in charge of what content you can see at the internet?.

how would it change You as a person if the censorship was removed.

would it chance your political view on the world at all?.

feel free to pm me the answers or you can post them here as welll.

im looking foward to your answers

Sure we think of it. If we are designing and maintaining a large web site ofc we have to worry about it.

Do you obey the cencorship or are you finding some ways to get trough the censor ship wallks set by the goverment?.
It's basically the same in every country that someone can get through the sensorship walks. NN more comments here smile.gif The only difference may be that the degree/percentage differs.

Do you feel manipulated by the censorship, and the facts that the goverment are in charge of what content you can see at the internet?.
Yes the contents are restricted. There are 2 facts:
a) You'll have to use proxy to browse the limited website outside China.
cool.gif If the website hosted in China contains something that is not allowed by the "harmonic society" it will get banned soon.

how would it change You as a person if the censorship was removed.
Though the current policies brings some incoveniences sometimes, I vote positive on this. The society may become less steady if we don't have such censorships/restrictions.

would it change your political view on the world at all?.
Me? Nope. I'm currently outside China and when I am in, I'm the minority who can get over the restrictions smile.gif and we have our own ways to publish our comments on some free website.

Besides of political considerations, censorship might be beneficial for young Chinese in some situations. For example, adult websites hosted in China were strictly restricted.

Well, political bias exists everywhere, including China and USA, which I always have the strong feeling when I watch CNN or Fox. In short, media, including internet, only let you know they think you should/can know.

A simple example in USA is, you will get big troubles if you actively involve in some websites that are claimed to be supporting terrorism by US government. That is another way of censorship, probably more malicious.

No offense, just my humble opinions tongue.gif tongue.gif

I know but I only write about political censorship.

and now when im from Denmark myself its pretty scary to read about, since the only thing you cant do on websites in denmark is to watch / upload childporn.

else basicly anything is okay. So its a high culturel different smile.gif

anyone else got time for some words? smile.gif
