September 11 Terrorist Attack
The 9/11 is a very historical event in history. Many terrorists have hijacked flight number eleven. Ever since then, the airports have been more secure than ever. You can not bring certain things like perfume or even water. A war even started in March ’03 because of the terrorist attack. Again, 9/11 is a very historical event and only so many people died because of it.
During the plane crashes as many as 250 people were trapped in the smoke and the fire at the top of the building of the North Tower. There were 2,749 lost lives in this attack. Of course the terrorists risked their lives just to kill and disrupt the twin towers in New York. After all of the planes crashing, the north tower collapses and all of those people in that building just fall and die. When this disaster was finished, ground zero burned for 99 more days. It burned until December 19. What a sad moment for everyone.
Seven In ten Americans say that they have experienced depressions since the attack. The Mental Health Office have had more than 33,000 people came in with “Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder”. So many things were postponed because of the attack. There were more than 90 little league baseball games and 6 major league baseball games that were postponed. These happened because some players have died or even just to pray for those who died during this big disaster.
There were many young and old people that died because of it. There a few kids that died under the age of five and a few old people over the age of 70 died on flight number eleven. The youngest victim that died was only 2 years old and on her way to her first trip to Disneyland. The oldest victim that died was 82 years old visiting his grandkids in California. They were on the first plane that crashed into the twin towers.
Once again, the 9/11 is a very historical event. As I mentioned a lot of people have died. I was amazed of how the airport could let in the terrorists into the planes and hijack them. Well the airports now have improved and the security is very tight. I am a lot happier that the security is better and I just really hope that nothing like this will NEVER happen again.
