Hi there chinese people,
Unfortunately i dont know even a word in chinese language, so let me use eng:)
Me and my girlfriend decide to go to China on the coming spring, 2008, and according to our plan we try to spend 12-14 days there depending on the financies:)
At the university we had some very interesting course of chinese history and culture, just for fun:), and it kindled our interest:)
We are hungarian, and there is a hungarian friend living in Beijing for more then 2 years, and he speaks chinese quite well, so he can help us bridging the language difficulties:)
We will be in Beijing on the first 2-4 days of the journey , but China =/= Beijing, and we want get an overall picture. It's not possile to shake hands with every chinese people ofc (1.4k millon omg), but the provinces can be as fascinating as the capital i think. The main problem is we have only 8-10 days after Beijing, and we cannot afford to fly from one end to the other in the whole country, it means we will travel by train or by bus:)
So feel free to suggest us some really indismissable, must-see things in China, and remember, we have only 8-10 days:)
