i dont like the way china trains their olympians, the government takes them at like 3 years old and puts them through hell just for a stupid metal

imagine what they'd think when they grow up, they dont even see their parents during this training

Looks like a fair trade to me. Becoming somebody but suffer vs becoming nobody and do nothing.
