Sad to say trading DD items outside the official forums / ingame is against Trendys rules and will get you banned if it's reported to trendy so good job being 100% legit right there LOL, about my post I just want to warn people since I find it unlikely that alot of people would call you a modder without having some sort of backup for it in the first place.

When it comes to a game like DD, pretty much yes since I don't think that known / very active people around the forum would try to screw someone over unless he pissed them off or is playing unlegit. And I don't think he did the first to xx people ^^.
Also aurealis recently got a new steam name / acc (probably), which seems a little fishy as his old name was very known and mentioned around the official forums, might just be a mule though but that's for everyone to decide what they want to believe.
I'm just posting what I've experienced myself, if the sets pass item check then It should be all good, I just want to warn people.
