I recently started playing on the xbox. Beat everything on Med and got to lvl 40 (Squire) and decided to go online. Some guy gave me some MOD wep that makes everything die.

Questions:
What are the "mod" weapons, and do people use them? Doesnt it just ruin the game?

What is a "Cube", a "MK2"?

Are there actual items worth farming for? As in, what items would I be looking for to drop that would be worth actully keeping..?

What is it people generally do online?

Are there certain levels that farming should be done on? If so, just give me a name and I will look it up from there.

I will update when I can think of more =P

cube and mk2 are pc exclusive rewards from completing the campaign (mk2) or all of the challenges (cube) on nightmare.

So after an hour or so of reading stuff tell me if im wrong:

Modded weps are def not allowed. They are dumb and DO in fact just kill everything in a hit...
The fun of the game is going to be from just finding better gear and beating harder levels (rather than farming etc etc)
The xbox version is very limited in the content it can get. Mainly the high drop ITEMS. Correct?

Honestly if you want to enjoy the game, get it for on computer... The DLC worth it, I got the full game on sale for 12,99$. If you want to play legit, don't play local, play ranked games. (Less mods in ranked).

First you should try to beat everything on Med as you did, with 2 chars, I would say squire and monk,(if you dont have a summoner or EV coming in the DLC). Then do the same insane, beat the game again, its not really hard. Before trying Nightmare, farm some gear in insane hardcore survivals. The Throne Room, is one of the easiest map to build a surv. NEVER do a surv without Hardcore On... without hardcore you wont find anything good... You can also play with people on in public games, some players as me, like to help other players and can lvl ur chars from lvl 1 to 74 in like 25-30 min...
Then farm again and again until you got a full myth matching set before trying Nighmare.

Some players are doing kings game runs to get the reward at the end, in these games you get good exp (20M) and about 200M mana each time

An M2K worth 60-80billions mana and a cube worth 160-180 billions (people trade 3 M2k for 1 cube)

people online are looking for Myth, Trans, Sup or Ult gear. for lvl 74,78, 83 or 90+ you can get these kind of gear from Nightmare. You can get a few Myth from insane surv after wave 17.

this can help you:

Thanks for your response!
Is the only difference in the DLC the last set of 4 characters? As well as the item differences that is. What is the highest tier of gear you can get on the console version?
It definitely sounds like the PC version has much more to offer... but with the console verision I can lay on my couch and play... =P

In the Full game version, you can play with the 4 basic chars and 8 new char( but 4 of these new chars are just new versions of the 4 basics, they got the same towers). The summoner, the EVseries, the Jester and the barbarian. Barb and Jesters are dps, the summoner is the strongest builder of all and the EV got boost towers who can double your power. I am always playing on my couch lol, as long as you got a laptop and a good cooler LOL.

I dont really know about the console version, I only played to the PC version. I heard there was no Nighmare difficulty on console... but I might be wrong on this. Honnestly the summoner alone worth buying the full game. He got lots of new towers (summons) and he dont spend DU, he spend Summon Units. In a map with 125 Defence Units (DU), the summoner got 125 SU just for himself. With a summoner you can be twice as powerfull.

Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane and Nightmare. You find ALL the best items on Nightmare. Nightmare is 5 times harder than insane at least. On Nightmare, the gmd of your towers is the same, the player dmg is reduced but the tower life are increased. Ennemies got alot more life. But if you got more than 2000 stats with each builder, you dont have any problem. My summoner got 4.5k and the other got 3-4k. I can solo any map Nightmare easy (exect for the maps with bosses, my dps aren't so strong)
