I have been upgrading an Ultimate Hydrospear and it seems a bit poopy... is it a bad item-type?

If yes, what are the best monk spear types for DPS?

sparus for ranged, try for 27k
espear for melee try for 160k

I'm thinking on respecing for range though if I find myself a really nice Sparus around the 26-27k Range for relatively cheap.

Nothing wrong with melee, I just prefer range b/c of damn spiders and more so spider queen bosses on things like Boss rush and Mistymire...kicking off my boosting sucks.

I compete to some degree with barbarians non-hawk shot obviously, though i'm usually prefenced over or in addition to barbs for DPS anyway, b/c of my 2K+ Dual boosts. It makes everyones shit better lol
