High damage and health, reset and range don't matter that much.
If you have about any amount of positive reset and range on your gear you should be able to hit 1k on each no problem. I'm not sure at what point range hard caps but it's probably at around +1k. Reset really doesn't matter that much because once you hit 1k you only have 2-3 seconds without gas/darkness traps and proxy traps will explode more than fast enough.
Having more damage on your proxies is better than them exploding more often imo, and having the traps last a really long time is better than it resetting more with shorter periods of being on.
Also you obviously need good amount of health since you can't go out repairing them every 3 seconds. I think I have +1500 health on my traptress which gives around 270 proxy charges at 3 star with tower buff which means I only have to repair once per wave later on or in between waves at earlier waves.
