What best ways to power level? I just started a few days ago and I wanna get a few of my own toons to max level. Currently I have a badly geared tower squire(L71).

Who ever helps me the most gets a donation.

I'll be able to give you a free power leveling session free of charge in about 14 hours. I have class in about six hours so I can't do anything right now.

But if you can't wait that long, Insane Glitter is the best for power leveling and I can provide a build order for squire towers.

early leveling: Deeper Well Insane Hardcore (first level).

Just build 4 Squire Bumper in Round 1 and switch to the twink that needs xp (roughly 40.000 xp per run)

--> build setup: http://html5.cubicleninja.com/dd/index.htm?layout=17910
(the outer bumper at the tight spots, the inner ones cover the stairs and about half of the other way).

You'll get more xp if only your towers kill the monster and if you've spent all your DU (defense units, you got 60 DU in Deeper Wells).

Later you can solo Ramparts hard, Glitterhelm hard and Glitter Insane to level up.

Glitter on Insane HC will probably bring you ~2.2 mil xp per run (minus the amount that your builders get in the first 1-2 combat phases).

Is hardcore on this game like d2 if you die you lose your toon? Also seem to have problems getting from side to side on glitter before that timer runs out. Anything more information you or anyone else can provide me with?

Thanks, but I would like to learn how to do it for myself.

Hardcore means: when you die in a round, you can't come back after a few seconds. But you will be back when that combat round is finished. You won't lose that character; the worst case is that you fail the map and have to restart ;)

One more advice: try to give your twink a guardian pet, especially Apprentice for tower damage or Huntress for tower attack rate. They can boost several towers in your surrounding and easily triple the effectiveness of the buffed towers. So you can be useful even if you're lvl 20 or so.

Do not use Survival / pure strategy for leveling your characters; use the "common campaign map". That will bring you a sweet bonus after each wave, especially at the last one.

Oh, and I'm not telling this for the donation btw, just for your info and a better start ;)

you can do the campain maps "just the way they are" (including Hardcore if you want, but not necessary), *or* you can do Survival or pure strategy on a difficulty you've finished the map already.

Survival and pure strategy are endless modes that bring you stronger and more enemies with each new wave, but it's extremely low xp per minute.
You get a pet after reaching wave 15 (different ones on different maps; better ones on higher difficulties) and a real strong one (giraffe) when you reach wave 25.

--> the tavern shop also got new pets after finishing a map; the higher the better (the map "endless spires" is quite easy in nightmare mode, but the tavern shop can get some sweet pets afterwards).

Before I forget what are some good ways to get gold? I don't like being so low compared to most people I see.

all items on the map are sold automatically when a new wave starts (up to a limit of 200 mil banked mana; going from 200mil to 2 billion only works with selling items in the player shop or getting mana from others directly in a trade).

Ramparts on hard might be the first map that's easy and will bring some money; I'm not sure how much lately, but I guess 500k.

Glitterhelm insane will already bring a few million and Endless Spires Hardcore Nightmare 20mil+ per run.

nm umf 2.0 (posted a guide yesterday) brings in over 200M mana doing it alone also. (you will need a lv 74 squire tho, so keep levelling!)
