What is the best weapon anyways

I was thinkin of shield/gloves for hybridish squires and katana/laser swords for dps??

Or does anyone else have a different take for what should squire take for weapon

Don't get one of those ^ .. For towers, it doesn't really matter too much unless you wish to spend rounds on your tower squire.. and god why would you do that AND want to hit something? .. For dps, get a katana

because your towers do 20% more damage if you are using the same char that you build the towers with during the round...

Yes, but at the same time, when I can use an app guardian, boost my towers to 3-4 times the damage AND move and shoot at the same time, making myself a mobile turret.. Why would I wish to stay on a tower build character (especially a squire who's by far the slowest thing on the planet and in NM, mobility is key) unless I'm saving DU to basically build as stuff is destroyed, which again for a squire is difficult with how expensive their towers are in DU
