That , and since this morning , DD wont even start up anymore due to endless steam cloud syncing bullshit bug.
can't find a way to fix it..

I had the same problem at around 7pm EST, stuck at preparing to launch

I verified my cache integriy. Found 3 files that didn't match. Updated

Still no go.

Did the registry fix + run as admin and it worked.

If it's more recent than that, that's weird.

Any way to launch the game w/o steam? I closed DD to play some LoL/Ship and it worked fine as of 1am EST.
