Most people on this board and in the game appear to be obsessed with upgrades. I suggest you look much more closely when estimating the value of a piece.

1. Check the resists - Uber MF demands high resists and resists are likely to be important going forward. Please note that the following two pieces of armor have the SAME effective upgrades (upgrades remaining after resists are upped)

11/10/9/11 Resists with 65 Upgrades
9/8/11/9 Resists with 52 Upgrades

2. Check the base stats - This should be pretty obvious but I feel like it's often overlooked. Since most people seem to prefer to upgrade damage, remember that each point in damage is equivalent to an additional point in upgrades.

Combining 1 and 2 can be EXTREMELY powerful. I found a helm with "only" 50 upgrades in an AFK shop but the resists and base stats were so good it maxed out with full resists and 95 damage. This is better than many of the 60+ upgrade armors out there!

/Edit - Topic says Armor + Weapon but i only meant armor -.-'

/Edit 2 - I also have an Excel spreadsheet which calculates effective upgrades. PM me an e-mail address if you want me to send it to you.
