your best bet is to invest a few bucks into FG and buy powerleveling from one of the quick, cheap levelers like Shakasez. Takes under 40 minutes to get to 70 and then you could buy one run of Mix/Survival with one of the people advertising on the forum such as dcbc and get a full set of some of the better gear.

except if you power level to lvl 70 then you have no idea how to play yoru character, you just have a character.

I would suggest joining a couple of pug groups to get a feel for the game. numenoreanx @ steam here, I'll run you through some hard/insane levels that will get you some decent gear and good exp.
