im guessing it gives a different piece of armour per map like:

map 1 : gloves
map 2 : helm
map 3 : boots
map 4 : chest

something like that i guess.

I hear you also get some other reward after you complete all of them on insane and receive it when you go back to your tavern after the final one.

DLC worth it? havent picked it up yet. Can you post the stats on the gloves, I cant open that screen shot of yours

You get a full set of armor for the 4, and once you have the 4 you get a fairy
