Im not sure what you mean by this. I have not been able to upgrade the boost to defense if its already over 20. I have a 21 to defense guardian and was never allowed to upgrade the chevron. on a 53 or 54 ups guardian*

I may have read it backwards thinking about it now.. didnt realize they can be in different order, didnt think about it until you just said that... well, one way or another its at 27 right now, so it's a high one..

27 (the star) is the range - and can be upped as much as you like. The chevron is the modifier for the guardian effect.
