Don't wanna rain on your parade but, it has -9 piercing shot, 162dmg is perfect, and 14 hero dmg is perfect. Still a badass Animus though.

I have a question about the item, so if im a dps hunteress would i be upgrading the projectile of the animus or the overall attack?

you can upgrade the rate of attack to 6 max and the split to 2 max. You get a chance to upgrade each one time since this animus is 5 rate of fire and 1 split already. Then for the remaining upgrades you put them into the animus attack
