So through browsing the DD forums, I've been able to learn how to pick a weapon, what stats to look for etc. Now i'm wondering if anyone could give me a rough breakdown on what stats to look for in an animus.

I'm trying to get an animus to boost my total DPS output for my "dps" apprentice and was wondering if anyone had suggestions.
I'm assuming 33 slots is the best you can get, but which type of animus and what kind of stats should I be looking for?

As far as weapon let me know what class/spec your going for and ill give you info.

Think i'm pretty set with a weapon. Probably going to go for a high elemental damage weapon to take out big monsters and let my pet finish the ones that are resistant to my attacks
